1. About this agreement
This agreement governs the use of RusCOD Anti-Cheat and its related services within the RusCOD community. “Administration” means the authorised RusCOD representatives who maintain the anti-cheat and handle player requests. You can contact them through RusCOD Support.
The anti-cheat is intended to check fair play on RusCOD servers and in RusCOD matches. This document covers the anti-cheat, registration, checks and reports. The rules of a particular server or competition also apply.
Read these terms before installing and using the software. By selecting the consent checkbox during registration, you accept this agreement and agree to the data processing described here for anti-cheat operation. If you do not agree, do not use the software and contact Support for clarification.
2. Using the software and your account
RusCOD grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the official client to play and check your own computer. This does not transfer rights to the software, its name, detection databases or other RusCOD materials.
Use an email address you control and accurate information about your gaming account. Do not share login codes or saved connections. Entering a Steam ID does not by itself prove ownership of that Steam profile.
Run the anti-cheat only on a computer you are entitled to use and check. The current client is intended for Windows and requests administrator privileges. Full support for Linux, macOS or compatibility layers is not claimed.
3. What the software checks
Depending on the client version and enabled modules, the anti-cheat checks running processes, loaded modules and game memory, file integrity and digital signatures, drivers and system protection information. Program names and paths may appear in diagnostic logs.
To find known cheats, the software may scan accessible drives and files, including locations outside the game folder, read files to calculate checksums and compare them against the detection database. Results may contain a file name, path, size and hash.
Hardware checks and inventory collect available information about Windows, BIOS, PCI/PCIe and USB/HID devices, storage, graphics and other components. Technical input events and timing characteristics may be processed to analyse input automation.
Checks have technical limits: an access error or an incomplete report is not a cheat detection. Active status confirms communication with the server; it does not by itself mean that all checks have completed or that no violations exist.
4. Game screenshots and check controls
During an active session, the anti-cheat periodically captures the area of the active game window and sends the image to the RusCOD server. The current interval is approximately five minutes. Captures are skipped when the game is not the active window, including when you switch to another application.
Images may include in-game chat, your nickname and elements displayed over the game area. Keep this in mind when displaying personal information in the game. Image capture does not mean audio or video recording.
START begins the gameplay checking session and STOP ends it; you can also close the application. Update checks and self-protection may run when the client starts, before START. Stopping the client does not delete information already sent to the server.
5. Anti-cheat data and processing purposes
Registration stores your nickname, the Steam ID you provide, verified email address and consent information. Connections may involve your IP address, game PlayerID, account, device and session identifiers, client version, connection times and service heartbeats.
Check data includes process and memory reports, file information and hashes, hardware and system information, technical input events, diagnostic logs, detections and game screenshots. File paths and device names may contain the computer user’s name.
This information is used to link players to sessions, identify violations, review detections, diagnose faults, operate the anti-cheat and handle penalties and appeals.
Registration pages use service cookies for sign-in, request protection and language selection. A saved connection on the computer avoids repeating the binding process at every normal start. Send questions about data, correction or deletion to Support.
6. Access, storage and deletion
Information is sent to RusCOD infrastructure. Authorised administrators and technical staff need access to private reports for the purposes described above. Technical safeguards reduce the risk of unauthorised access but cannot guarantee absolute security.
The public penalties list may show a gaming nickname, violation details, and the date and duration of a penalty. Email addresses, detailed computer inventories, private logs, screenshots and support messages are not intended for public publication.
Data should be kept only to the extent and for the time needed to operate the service, investigate violations and resolve requests. This agreement does not set a single automatic deletion period for every data category. Contact Support to ask about retention of your information or request deletion.
To act on a request, administrators may ask you to verify your connection to the account. Some information may remain while a violation or dispute is being reviewed or where applicable law requires retention. Uninstalling the software or revoking a connection does not itself erase server history or backups.
7. Fair play rules
Cheats, injections, game-data tampering, prohibited macros and software or hardware that provide an unfair advantage are forbidden. Whether a particular setting is allowed depends on the rules of the server or competition.
Do not falsify reports, hashes, heartbeats or identifiers, present another person’s session as your own, evade restrictions or interfere with the anti-cheat to hide a violation. Do not distribute a modified build as an official RusCOD client.
Using another account or device to evade a penalty is prohibited. Report faults or vulnerabilities to Support and do not exploit them against other players or the service. This section does not restrict rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Updates and security settings
The client checks for updates at startup and may install program, module and detection-database releases published by RusCOD. A server that requires AC may require the current version.
The installer may separately offer Microsoft Defender exclusions and firewall rules. This agreement does not replace consent prompts shown by the installer or Windows privilege confirmation.
Material changes to the terms or the scope of processing should be reflected in a new dated revision of this document. Where separate consent is required, publishing revised text does not itself replace that consent.
9. Violations, restrictions and appeals
For an established violation, administrators may apply restrictions under RusCOD rules, including a warning, server removal, or a temporary or permanent ban. Whether AC is mandatory depends on the particular server or match.
A lost connection, incomplete check or technical fault does not by itself prove cheating. Disputed detections require review of the available evidence and context.
If you believe a penalty is incorrect, send an appeal to Support with your nickname, game identifier, date and server, penalty number if available, and an explanation. The penalties list is available on the bans page. Do not send passwords or login codes.
An appeal does not guarantee that a penalty will be removed. Administrators review relevant material; detection-method details and information about other players may be withheld.
10. Limitations and responsibility
The anti-cheat cannot guarantee detection of every violation, freedom from incorrect results, uninterrupted connectivity or identical performance on every computer. Compatibility depends on Windows, hardware, drivers, the game and other software.
If a fault occurs, stop the affected session and contact Support with a description and available logs. Do not independently disable system protection to work around an error.
Each party is responsible for its actions within the limits of applicable law. These terms do not exclude mandatory user rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Ending use
You can stop using the anti-cheat, stop its checks, revoke connections in your account and uninstall the application. Modes that require AC may then be unavailable.
Requests to delete an account or server data must be sent separately to Support. Ending use does not cancel existing penalties or automatically close pending requests.
12. Contacting RusCOD
Send questions about these terms, data processing, software operation and appeals through RusCOD Support. For an anti-cheat request, identify RusCOD Anti-Cheat, provide your gaming nickname and explain the issue.
